Biden Appears To Forget Australian PM's Name, Says "Fellow Down Under"
"Thank you, Boris and... and I need to thank that fellow Down Under. Thank you very much, pal. Like it, Mr. Prime Minister," US President Joe Biden told.
Sydney: Australians wriggled Thursday as US President Joe Biden expressed their prime minister for joining a major new defense alliance -- but appeared to remember his name.
Instead of being feted by name for his job in the US-Britain-Australia agreement, Prime Minister Scott Morrison was initially consigned to being "that fellow Down Under".
At a broadcast White House announcement, Biden was flanked by huge video displays of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Australia's Morrison, who each took part distantly.
